We would like to inform you about portfolio improvements and extensions of Carbon Zapp’s test benches for Continental CR Diesel-Injectors.

We would like to inform you about the extended functionality of the Carbon Zapp CR Injector test plans for authorized Continental DRS Partners from software version 2.9.8.5 onwards. The new test plans will cover EU3, EU4 and EU5 Continental CR Injectors on the test benches MTBR|X, ITB.1R|X and ITB.4R|X.

To improve the quality of the CR Injector test and avoid unnecessary work on CR Injectors which will not pass the test because of a mechanical piezo actuator defect or a shifted “blind-lift”, a new test feature has been implemented in addition to the existing test plan. A detailed measurement of the piezo actuators adjustment to the injector body is carried out so in case of a defect the user is informed already at the beginning of the test procedure.

Of course, the existing products keep receiving software updates in the future and remain authorized by Continental to test CR Diesel-Components. The new test bench generation will also contain the authorized Continental test plans as well if desired by the customer.
